1927Year NEW LONDON, Conn., June 6. -- Cool weather greeted the Yale and Harvard oarsmen in their morning and afternoon practices on the Thames River course today. Two of Yale's coaches, Ed Leader and Mike Murphy, arrived in camp from New Haven early this morning and about 10 o'clock the crews were ordered out for their first workout on the river.
